The Northwest Regional Police Department participates in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Take Back Program. We have a collection bin in the lobby available during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM) at the police station: 8855 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
We accept the following: prescription and solid over-the-counter medications, tablets, capsules, and pet medication.
We do not accept the following: intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes, needles, hydrogen peroxide, compressed cylinders or aerosols, iodine-containing medications, thermometers, alcohol, or illicit drugs (i.e., marijuana, heroin, LSD, etc.).
